Pope Francis walked on American soil for the first time this
Tuesday, when he arrived in Washington from Cuba starting his historic
six-day tour across one of the most powerful and richest nation in the

The Pontiff was greeted by President Barack Obama, vice-president Joe
Biden and their families as well as cardinals, bishops, archbishops,
military honour guard, schoolchildren, politicians and huge crowds of
cheering believers.
