The forum otherwise known as Ojimeme said Mohammed was caught pants down on Tuesday, September 22, while he was having carnal knowledge of the girl in her father’s house at Badarawa festac road.
According to Leadership, the Victim’s elder sister was the one who caught the electrical engineer.
At the Ojimeme’s office were the suspect was interrogated, the victim (names withheld) said her assailant has forced into the act in over three different places in time past.
She narrated her ordeal to the forum, stating that the suspect would always give her fifty naira after having his way with her and would sternly warn her not to tell anyone what has transpired between them.
Usman Adamu, the girl’s father who reported the case, insisted that justice must take its due course.
However, Mohammed pleaded for mercy, adding that he regrets his action.
The suspect who is married with a child, confessed that he was given a charm by a herbalist in Maiduguri which upon sleeping with a minor becomes potent for wealth creation.
“I was given the charm from one man in Maiduguri, Borno State, the man said I should rub it on any girl of between 10 and 11 years of age and then sleep with her after which I will have a lot of wealth,” the suspect said.
Meanwhile, a similar case was reported in Ogun state, where a certain chief was apprehended for raping a 17-year old girl.
The suspect, Ismaila Rasak Jagunna, was reportedly in the habit of defiling teenagers who presumably were virgins.
Chief Rasak, 45, was allegedly caught on Sunday, September 6, at the Federal Housing, Obada Oko in Ewekoro local government area of Ogun state, raping the teenager inside his car.
