Abuja World Trade Centre Set To Open 2016

The Abuja World Trade Centre complex is expected to open to the public 2016. That is when the first phase of project is expected to be completed. The World Trade Centre Abuja will be the largest multipurpose business edifice in West Africa with a land area of over six million square feet.

The project is funded by local and foreign financial institutions and private investors to the tune of two hundred billion naira of just over one billion dollars. The development is expected to join the network of three hundred and twenty three locations in eighty nine countries started in 1970 with the inauguration of the first world trade centre in new york city.
The Abuja world trade centre is a 24-storey structure in the Nigeria’s federal capital is proposed to improve trade relations between Nigeria and the rest of the world.
Construction of the two-phase project began in 2010.
